[18:14:07] <DevWork_> Hi. Trying to compile xbmc for the lime. Its saying "checking for main in -legl" I've heard this can be device dependent. What library does it want?
[20:19:28] <WarheadsSE> DevWork: probably the Mali EGL stack
[20:21:51] <DevWork> Yea I figured out that problem. What happened was
[20:21:59] <DevWork> I was editing the none crosscompile part of the depends.mk
[20:22:22] <DevWork> So once I did that, I went in the system did a build-deps xbmc, stopped it, booted back up into debian
[20:22:25] <DevWork> used xapt for a few things
[20:22:34] <DevWork> and it was working a bit better
[20:23:29] <DevWork> I'm having one issue now though. LD xbmc.bin is missing stdc++, dont know if it needs it or my xcompile leaked something from the host.
[20:25:43] <WarheadsSE> And things like this are why Arch Linux ARM does a native pp/ld and only pushes cc to distcc.
[20:26:56] <DevWork> K well I didn't design the build system, and while I write software I normally just do so natively. Unfortunately this is the project I have to compile :)
[20:27:27] <DevWork> anyways it built fine, most of it was me not knowing the system, the only thing I had to do was add -lstdc++
[20:27:28] <WarheadsSE> :) Yeah, it was just an off-hand comment.
[20:47:46] <DevWork> yea. well I hope doing all this was worth it
[20:47:56] <DevWork> and the lime doesn't run xbmc like shi.
[20:48:30] <DevWork> it would be extremely disappointing for me with the lime.
