Hello there,

I recently buy a MSP430 BSL USB Rocket Olimex https://www.olimex.com/Products/MSP430/BSL/MSP430-BSL/ but I can't program my board. I Download SLAU319E but I can't launch the BSL_Scripter.exe file when I launch it nothing happen. I'm using Windows XP SP3. The uC I'm using is a M430F169. I work in a compagny and before I used a http://www.gessler-electronic.de/v2/images/bsl_small.jpg with a serial port and now with a USB port the software isn't compatible.

Can you help me please?

Best regards,
Jeanlouisbzh

Hey Jeanlouisbzh,

We don't really know anything about the software/firmware of the MSP430-BSL rocket. We made the hardware according to the TI specifications. Then we send them few boards and asked if they are behaving as expected.

TI is providing both the firmware and the compatible software. We are manufacturing the hardware.

I suggest you check here for more information: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/BSL_(MSP430). You can raise more questions here: https://github.com/MSP-EricLoeffler/MSPBSL_USB_Tool.
