Freedombox can be configured as a server for specific service (DNS server, VPN, chat server, mail server, etc).

I can only configure it for those specifications, I do not have much knowledge of internet connection, but an isp cannot be made, to be my own internet service

Well, you can use it as home router or firewall or VPN.

However, ISP is how to say... different. I am not sure what do you mean by ISP, is it what wikipedia says here:
