Using http://images.olimex.com/release/a64/A64-OLinuXino-buster-base-20201105-143953.img.7z

While attempting to set up a MIDI input:

ALSA lib seq_hw.c:466:(snd_seq_hw_open) open /dev/snd/seq failed: No such file or directory
fluidsynth: error: Error opening ALSA sequencer
Failed to create the MIDI thread; no MIDI input
will be available.

From what I understand, ALSA sequencer must be enabled in the kernel.  It does not appear to be included as a module.

Can this be addressed in the next release?

Thanks!

The developers had been notified. Will probably include

CONFIG_SND_SEQUENCER CONFIG_SND_SEQ_MIDI

in future releases for A64.

Just grabbed the new image released on 12/17 and see that the MIDI/sequencer modules are now included.  Many thanks!
