I have a ESP32-DevKit-LiPo board and am looking to use a LiPo battery to power it in future. I already have a few LiPo batteries that I previously bought for a different non-Olimex board, but it turns out the connectors from these batteries are too small to connect to the Olimex board.

The easiest thing for me to do at this point in time would be to buy a battery connector adapter, because I'd like to be able to use the batteries that I already have. However, I don't know what the actual part name of the JST connector is for the Olimex board. The schematic document refers to it simply as "DW02S", but if I put this into Google it doesn't give me much back - mainly just schematic documents for other Olimex products. Is there a technical name for that particular JST connector that I could look for?

LubOlimex

It can be described as "SMD Header with top entry and 2mm step, with 2P positions". The manufacturer's name is CI0102M1VT0-LF

The data sheet for the series is here:

Thanks! In terms of connectors that will fit into this socket, would these be OK? https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/wire-housings-plugs/8201466/ They seem to be the best option that I've found so far that's reasonably accessible for delivery to where I am.

It seems alright, just make sure to first double check where is + and where is - before doing the wiring.

I've seen a lot of people connect + and - of these connectors in reverse which leads to hardware damage usually.
