Hi folks,

I just came across the armbian-Olimex Micro site (https://www.armbian.com/olimex-micro/) and found that the Olimex Micro seem not to be supported anymore  :o

Does this mean the e.g. A20-OlinuXino-MICRO-e16Gs16M is not supported by Olimex anymore?

Cheers,
Klaus

It looks to be so, though asking the Armbian people may well make sense :)

I see other, very similar, Olimex boards are supported, so it seems a bit odd that these others are not.

If you can get details from Armbian folk, please post them.

I wonder if it is a mistake, as linux-sunxi still shows the -micro as Supported.

There still old images archived there :
https://dl.armbian.com/_old/micro/archive/

... or you can build newer images yourself using Armbian build scripts by choosing EOS menu ...

Hi,

I strongly advice you to use latest Olimex images on our ftp server they are based on Armbian. Also if you want to build your own images you can use our build scripts on GitHub used to build the latest images.

The images on Armbian site are just build and not tested, so most probably will have issues. This is the reason to make our own builds and repos. All images on our ftp are tested and work with all our other add on boards, wifis etc.

Hi,
and thanks for all of your quick responses.

I'll post that question to the armbian folks as soon times allows, and will post the answer (if any) in this tread.

I'll also will have a go at the olimex/armbian images as well as the build scripts on GitHub.

Thanks so far,
Klaus
