Hello everyone and greetings from Greece,
i am preaty excited about this board and this community around it BUT the thing is that im new to linux programming, i have been an end user for quite a while and now i thought i should go deeper.

I see that you are all use uboot to boot linux on the A13 board (debian 2d) as i saw on another post. What i want to ask, if it is possoble, that someone provides a step by step use of uboot or any link that explains what should be done to make it work...

and an another question is that is it possible to have the board destroyed by making smth wrong? in that case jtag saves it?

thank you

Hi, for using U-Boot you must read official documentation :)
Version that we use is patched specially fo Olinuxino A13, and you can find it in hno repo, listed in messages below. Wotking with u-boot is simple,
you must compile/install it regarding https://github.com/hno/uboot-allwinner/wiki.
SD card partitioning scheme and boot process are described here : http://rhombus-tech.net/allwinner_a10/a10_mmc_boot/ :)

You do not need jtag to restore board :) http://elinux.org/Hack_A10_devices
