How to get a formal confirmation from Olimex, that AVR-ISP500 does not contain any cryptography and means for surreptitios obtaining of information?
This is required for customs clearance purposes.
The part has stuk in the customs in Russia and only a formal letter from Olimex can help.
Please advise if there is a way to contact the manufacturer and get such letter?
Thank you.

Hey Planar,

Use the support@olimex.com - however, I'm not sure if we can help. First of all, I'm not sure what exactly is considered cryptography by your customs - AVR-ISP500 might fall into that category. Then, AVR-ISP500 is a board with closed-source design - we can't detail the operation and the design.

By the way, your customs are really annoying sometimes. I'd recommend you to find a Russian or Global retailer of our products to avoid dealing with the customs yourself in future. The list of distributors can be found here: https://www.olimex.com/Distributors/
