I am considering buying the Olimex A20 to replace a Beagleboard xM.
Some functionalities I need to decide whether to switch from the BBxM to Olinuxino-A20 :
- the audio input must have a pre-amp, so microphones can be directly connected, or it must have a software switch to connect either Mic or Line input (which have different impedance)
- the audio input should be stereo

Have people tested the in-out latency? E.g. how many buffers must Jack allocate at standard rates such as 44100 or 48k?
On a beagleboard the best you obtain is 2 buffers of 64 samples in input and 5 bufs 64 smp on output, at 44100 or 48k resulting in a latency > 10ms.
