Hello,

I intend to buy a A20 as a replacement for my laptop, Linux. I have two questions before buying:
- I will use it during my lessons to show presentations. The board won't be connected at the internet at that time. Since there is no bios, there should be a date/time issue. Does this mean I will have to set manually date after booting?
- Should I use rather SD storage or SATA HDD drive to store /home? This is not a matter of space (20 GB will be enough), rather of speed. I wonder if SD won't be too slow when compiling tex files or playing songs.

These are noobs questions, any hint welcome.
Thanks!

I added a DS1338 Real Time Clock IC on I2C (via UEXT) and then added the DS1307 driver to the Linux Kernel and now I have a proper battery backed clock.

Thanks, I'll do the same!
