I have a stm32-h407 board. it can upload with jtag and keil, and it work well. now, I want to use maple, but dont know it well. I  download folder maple-ide-0.0.12-windowsxp32, and run maple-ide.exe. I select Tools/Board/LeadLabs Maple Native (Beta) to Flash, File/Examples/Digital/Blink. I select Verify,it is ok. When I select upload , it show "Couldn't find the DFU device: [1EAF:0003]". the board connect computer with USB cable (miniUSB port in the board), power led is on. whatever boot0=0 or boot0=1 (boot1=0), computer cant find the dfu device.
I have a discovey board (with stm32f407), when boot0=1, computer can find the dfu device(discovey board),and can upload dfu file. when boot0=0, the board can run the program.
I dont know how to handle the stm32-h407 board. my comupter is windows.
  please give me some advice.
  thank you

  there are some news.
In stmf407 discovery board, OTGUSB port connect PA9, PA11, PA12, PA10 . In stm32-h407 board, miniUSB port dont connect these ports. otherwise, HOSTUSB connect these ports.
I connect HOSTUSB port to my computer when boot0=1, then computer can find the dfu device(stm32-h407 board).
I upload program with maple, it didnt work, it also said "Couldn't find the DFU device: [1EAF:0003]".I dont know what can I do, please give me some advices, thank you!

I may be having the same problem.  I have the Olimexino-328 and I'm using the Maple IDE.  Whenever I push the reset button on the board, the IDE loses the serial port, it disappears from the Serial Port menu.  I've tried many things, but I cannot find a solution.  I also get the error:
Couldn't find the DFU device: [1EAF:0003]
even when the serial port is available.  Is there a way to fix this serial port connection issue?

Hey gsentlin,

MAPLE IDE is meant to work with ARM Cortex microcontrollers. The preferred IDE for boards with AVR microcontrollers like OLIMEXINO-328 should be Arduino IDE. You can get it from here:

I'm sorry, I meant that I have the Olimexino STM32 board.  I thought that maybe this was a common problem.  Thanks for your reply.

Sometimes the Maple IDE cannot reset the board into bootloader mode automatically. There are two optios:
1) Put the board in bootloader mode and then click upload, though it may be some time before the IDE finds the board.
2) Click upload, then wait for the output to say "Searching for DFU device..." and then VERY quickly put the board in bootloader mode. It will say "Found it!" after a couple of seconds and your code will be uploaded normally.

I have Olimexino Stm 32 Device, which is installed and work properly but whenever I press a upload button then it shows "[Couldn't find the DFU device: [1EAF:0003]"
I did all the things that you had already suggest to other person,
Also, when I bring the maple in boot-loader mode then my system doesn't shows the SERIAL PORT.
Please help me, it's urgent.
