I am fitting a UEXT MOD-RTC module to an A20 board. Since I am trying to keep the overall height down the RTC module (or any other really) is going to stick up at 90 degrees to the board which is less than ideal.

There are two solutions: a 90 degree plug/socket adaptor or a MOD-RTC module with a 90 degree connector fitted. Making inline and 90 degree versions of UEXT modules would be a PITA from a manufacturing and inventory point of view but only one, or two (left and right hand) 90 degree adaptors would be required.

Now I know a simple 10 way cable would also solve the problem but the 90 degree connector would also provide a fairly solid mounting too.
