pic maxi web dev board I used to collect couting from 3 inductive sensors and save data's on external MMC/SD card,
the question is, can I read/import contents from MMC/SD card on my PC via ethernet?

Hello betuse,

What board exactly do you have? You said PIC-MAXI-WEB but it doesn't have SD card by default. Did you mean PIC32-MAXI-WEB?

Generally, it should be possible to read the MMC/SD card via Ethernet.

Hi there,
thanks for quick reply,
I use PIC MAXI WEB with EXTERNAL MMC/SD card board, connected to EXT pins,
can you advice where/how to start with reading card on PC via Ethernet?

Hey betuse,

Unfortunately, we don't have a ready example for SD card and PIC18.

It might be a good idea to check this project:https://www.marcusbannerman.co.uk/index.php/research/electronicspics/40-pic-projects/76-fat32-library-for-pic18-devices.html. Also the following document might provide you with some basic info: http://m.eet.com/media/1114317/1515_ch3.pdf

There is also a commercial company that does such projects for PIC18 boards. They sell the software at their web site. Link to their project page: http://www.brushelectronics.com/index.php?page=contact
