Hello Olimex Team,

I would like to write my thesis (Diploma) with my Olimex pic32-maxyweb panel and this DEMO application.
I would like to write something about this demo and make change to make my own application.
I want to use some of the files from this project, but I want to use my own graphic design, TCP process, SD card program and webpage.

Do I have right for it with your project?
Or I can not do it because the copyright?

Many Thanks
Gyula Horvath

Hey Gyula,

I've put your questions as a separate topic.

We have absolutely no problem with you using the demo code provided with PIC32-MAXI-WEB BUT we have used big parts of Microchip's application libraries code which might be copyrighted in specific conditions.

I recommend you to study the following two documents which might shed light into the subject:

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7WHuNCASY8cZWkzQk1NZ2Jsc1k/edit?usp=sharing
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7WHuNCASY8ca3VQWUVnRjVBYk0/edit?usp=sharing

Generally you can use the code as long as you don't violate the Microchip's license agreement.
