Hey guys!

I have tried to boot my A20 today. But nothing happend.
I have flashed the newest debian image to a USB. It wont even light up the USB, as it does in Win/linux on my laptop.
I have checked the HDMI-cable and the power supply. It does not send anything to the TV or shows up on the LAN.
Do i need to follow this guide: http://olimex.wordpress.com/2013/09/18/7795/ or is it possible to flash my debian-image to a SD or USB-stick with Win32 Disk Imager ??

Hi,

QuoteI have flashed the newest debian image to a USB.

You have to flash the Olimex Debian image to microSD card with size of at least 4GB (better 8GB) with Win32 disk imager.

The usermanual lists up that the A20 is capable to boot from. USB is one of them.
I have tried with a 8GB mSD and dd the image to the card. that did not work..

As far as I know A20 (and all other AllWinner SoCs) can boot only from microSD card and the onboard flash and microSD slot is the first boot device. You can have the Linux rootFS on USB drive, SATA disk, etc, but board cannot boot from that medium. Try again the microSD image and let us know whether at least the LEDs near the power supply are blinking. What power supply do you use?

I bought this supply with the board https://www.olimex.com/Products/Power/SY0612E-CHINA/
I did not have a cardreader, so i managed to flash the mSD trough my phone.
Then i insert the card into the board and turn on the supply. I see a glimpse of another LED then the red PWR is on.
I dont't get any HDMI output, it is only the red LED that lights.. I don't knwo what to do? How do I troubleshoot it?
