Dear Friends, I am student of psychology and i do not know much about those boards.
I had some questions i would be happy if you guide me.

1. what is difference between analog and digital SMT,ASM. how many channels do they have?
2. can i connect SMT to bioexplorer application? before someone has done it?
3. i want to use dry electrode for SMT is it possible? they have just one connection not two or three on electrodes like they sell in oumex?
4. what about reference and ground electrodes for openeeg?

You need both analog and digital board for a single system. The EEG-SMT electrodes would not work, you need to create own electrodes.

I recommend you to read the OpenEEG site, the analog and digital EEG boards were originally made for the OpenEEG community. They know best about the boards. Start here:

Hello, I'm an Electronic Engineering undergraduate at MMU (Department of Engineering). Where can I find similar figures and schemes that culd illustrate the structure of Open Source OpenEEG (I need those for my final year project)?

I don't understand what you are saying, I just purchased a Olimex EEG-SMT with 4 AE and 1 PE, the user manual on your website state that the unit, with 4 AE and 1 PE electrodes, will be able to work with OpenVibe, now you are saying I need to buy another two boards (analog and digital) and make my own electrodes?

If that's the case, what is EEG-SMT for? I am completely lost!

You are ok. You have everything you need. This thread was made for other products that are NOT EEG-SMT, namely but these two:

https://www.olimex.com/Products/EEG/OpenEEG/EEG-ANALOG-ASM/open-source-hardware
https://www.olimex.com/Products/EEG/OpenEEG/EEG-DIGITAL-ASM/open-source-hardware

Please in future start own thread if you encounter issues.
