Hi
Is the PIC32-HMZ144 suitable for industrial temperature range applications like the
PIC32-PINGUINO?
If you have any suggestions or questions please let me know....Thanks

Hey,

The oscillators are not good enough - they work only from -20 to 70 and there might be problems with them. The rest of the components work fine fine from -40°C to 85°C. So the design might be good enough for this range -40°C to 85°C if you take into account the oscillators (or if you change the oscillators CD1 and CD2 with ones with the same values and in the same package but for greater operating temperature range).

You can double check too - open the schematics and identify the active components (the main chip and bigger components, for example voltage regulators). Then search for the datasheet of each component and check the operating temperature range.

PIC32-HMZ144 doesn't have a lot of active components - seems to be that there are only 5-6. In the design I saw U1_MAIN; U2; U3; U4; CD1 and CD2.
