Zero Network Broadcast Address

Hello everybody
I use imx233-MICRO plus AX88772 usb-eth adapter.
Among others, i run a UDP "server" daemon to receive and send broadcast messages.
This is useful in order to dicover a MICRO into a local network, no matter its initial network  settings and furthermore be able to assign a compatible IP address, subnet etc.
The problem is that although it responds to specific network broadcast address (for example 192.168.1.255) it doesn't happen the same with the "zero network" broadcast address 255.255.255.255.
I was wondering if there is some place to enable it (perhaps in the AX88772 driver or so)

Best Regards
