Title: TMS320-XDS100-V3 user serial port
Post by: Frogstar_Robot on February 20, 2022, 02:03:55 PM
Hi all,

I am using TMS320-XDS100-V3 to debug my target, that works fine.

The TMS320-XDS100-V3 has a header footprint with 6 pins which appear to be a serial connection. I know there is a second COM port available with the XDS100, so I am wondering if this is a port I can use for serial IO with my target board.

I am unable to find any info about this, nor a schematic for XDS100 since TI dropped support for XDS100. Olimex web page links to a TI page, which now links back to Olimex page...

Thanks

Some more info about XDS100 can be found in the backup here:

You can check if there is snapshot of the XDS100 wiki article in the internet archive web-site.
