Title: USB connector does not work
Post by: carlos789 on November 05, 2021, 11:21:20 PM
Hello:
I am using a PIC32-HMZ144 board with a USB CDC application and it does not work, would someone be so kind to inform me if they used the USB connector successfully?
Many greetings
Carlos

Hello:
Could someone tell me if it is necessary to configure the microcontroller pins for the USD_ID, OTG_FAULT and OTG_EN signals to work in USB Device?
Greetings
Carlos

We test the USB connector after manufacturing empirically with test software. The issue lies somewhere in your code or application.

Hello:
Could you provide me with that test software to verify the functioning of my USB port?
Many greetings.

I can but it makes no sense because you won't be able to use it for several reasons:

1. All menu choices are in Bulgarian language;
2. It uses older version of software libraries and tools that you won't be able to find;
3. To reach the USB test you need to pass several other tests that require extra custom-made hardware headers which you don't have. The extra hardware is needed for testing every GPIO pin of the board.
