Title: Cortex A35 board
Post by: bogdan on September 14, 2021, 02:11:11 PM
Do you plan to implement a board with Cortex-A35 CPU? It would be the most power efficient board with an ARMv8 processor, usable in embedded applications.

Yes, check the announcement from last year here: https://olimex.wordpress.com/2020/07/07/the-work-on-our-most-complex-open-source-hardware-linux-board-started-meet-the-tukhla-imx8quadmax-soc-based-board-to-be-designed-with-kicad/

Design is done, PCBs are here but due to global electronic parts shortages the production is delayed. Unfortunately, a lot of parts went extinct in the last 6 months.

Lub, I believe you are confused
Cortex-A35 is power efficient, low performance ARM core
imx8 NANO the smallest SOC from imx8 family is Cortex-A35
imx8 QUAD MAX is top of the top in performance, there is no comparison
