Hello,

I'm using the ECG shield with a Olimexino 328. I uploaded the available sketch with no issues and atached the electrodes. The problem is that I don't get any readings once I start ElectricGuru. I have everything set up. The right port, the right preferences and the code is running fine. I'm not sure what is the issue.

Where is the link?

Did you set the jumpers as recommended in the manual? What is the state of the REF_E jumper?


What kind of electrodes do you use? How do you apply them?

I'm using the gel electrodes and placing them as mentioned in the manual. I also tryed to change their positions but it didn't change anything.

Did you start the visualization, it should be the button top left corner, looks like green traffic light or semaphore.

Yes. The picture shows the output after starting the visualization. It runs for a while but it doesn't show anything.

It feels like something is completely wrong with the jumpers. In the worst case scenario there should be AT LEAST flat line. Please re-do the whole setup and make sure the jumpers are set as per manual.

If the issue persist you can try to setup the visualization with Arduino, follow this document (just instead of Olimexino-2560, select Olimexino-328 in the board manager):

The hardware is connected properly, but man, neither the EKG shield, nor the electrodes are made or sold by Olimex. I have no idea what is this board and how does it work, I am not familiar with it. Please contact the manufacturer of the EKG shield with questions why the shield doesn't show EKG.
