Title: PIC32-HMZ144 Arduino support?
Post by: jstanle1 on October 25, 2020, 12:39:17 AM
Hello --

I would like to program a PIC32-HMZ144 board using Arduino.  Do you have a bootloader (and instructions for flashing it onto the board) that will support this?  Are there board support files available that allow the board to work with Arduino?

Thanks for any word on this.

Only if somebody else added support for the chip PIC32MZ2048 in Arduino IDE.

PIC32-HMZ144, by design, is a general-purpose PIC32 board for evaluation the PIC32MZ series of chips. It was meant to be programmed and debugged via the 6-pin ICSP header using compatible tools, like Olimex PIC-KIT3. We haven't had Arduino IDE as a goal, nor have we worked for adding such support.
