Post by: ALFREDOSKY on January 17, 2015, 01:36:01 AM
Hi all, I got PIC32 MAXI WEB board and when is conected to 12v, the PIC start to warm, but the temperature becomes too high, if you put your finger on uC maybe you will burn. How can I do to down the temperature? Is it normal to reach that temperature?

What is your power consumption when nothing else is connected? It should be ~0.2A, and if you turn on all the LEDs and relays with LAN cable connect it should raise up to 0.3A. If it is higher than that maybe you have short somewhere.
