Title: Off-board power switch
Post by: marko on January 09, 2015, 04:16:00 AM
Does anyone know if it's possible to hook up an off-board PWR switch to the A10-OLinuXino-LIME without hacking the board? I've looked at the schematics and docs and didn't see anything to suggest that this is a provided feature, but I might have missed something.

This is a recurring issue with almost all of the boards. I use the A20 and it's the same.

Your only option is to add a hack. I solder a wire to the board switch and connect this to a Molex 2 pin KK type connector and this then connects to my carrier board.

@Olimex. You need to bring the power switch to an external connection point on future boards?

I'm really interested in this feature as well. Are you planning to add a PIN for the switch ?
