Title: iMX233-OLinuXino-MICRO E-book Reader
Post by: lordlothar on November 02, 2012, 08:09:23 PM
Hello,

I am currently working on my diploma thesis, regarding the construction of an e-book reader. I think that iMX233-OLinuXino-MICRO is exactly what i need to do my work, but i have some questions and i wonder if someone could help me!

First of all, how can i connect a display to iMX233-OLinuXino-MICRO, except the PAL/NTSC video output? Can i do this via the 18-bit parallel interface on iMX233 and if yes, can i use A13-LCD7-TS although its interface is of 24-bits?

Secondly, is it better to program a pdf reader application on QT, or use one of the pre-buit distributions for iMX233-OLinuXino-MICRO, like debian, and compile one there? As regards the second option, I am concerned due to the 64MB ram of the board!

Thank you in advance!

Anyone about how i can drive an lcd via lcd controller port on imx233? I read in the datasheet that only the bga package supports 24 bit parallel lcd interface...
