Title: Tiny-V2: Cannot identify target device
Post by: mskeels on May 29, 2013, 06:53:49 PM
I installed the latest download of the MSP430 programming IDE this am, 1.3.0.4.

Connected a Tiny_V2.    It could not identify the target device.

Copied newly downloaded, more recent drivers into the IDE directory, version 2.007.

The IDE updated the firmware on the Tiny.

Still cannot identify target device.

Tried a different Tiny-V2.

Same result.

uninstalled, reinstalled and did it all over again. Same result.

Running on Win XP pro, version 2002, SP3.

What should I do to fix?

Hello smkeels,

What is your target (board name/microcontroller part name)? Is it powered externally or by the TINY-V2?

Best regards,
