Title: Using EEG-Signals
Post by: Naed on March 29, 2013, 02:46:18 PM
Hey folks,

I recently bought the EEG-SMT from the Olimex-Website and have a few questions.

1. I want to split the signal in just 2 (concentrated/not concentrated) or maybe 4 different kinds and use them in a program to e.g. hold a dot steady (concentrated) or let him bounce around (not concentrated). My question is how can I use the signals in my own coded program?
2. I haven't quite figured out the ideal position of the 4AE and the 1PE on my head. If I use BrainBay it sometimes seems to be quite reliable, but other times it just does whatever it wants. Any tips here?

Thank you! Looking forward to your answers :)

Hey Naed,

I can't help for the first question, maybe it would be better to take a look at the OpenEEG community mail lists and even raise the question there - the guys don't quite follow our forums.

About the ideal position a good solution is using a headband (bandanna) or a tight hat - at least it is a good solution for your hair :)

Best regards,
