Yesterday I received my A13 WiFi board and the LCD7 TouchScreen display. After flashing the LCD image, Android starts up using the display and gets to the touchscreen calibration. I'm asked to tap the red circle, but when I do that nothing happens.
As I used the brebuilt image I cannot image what might hove gone wrong there, How can I check that I actually have the TS version of the display? From what I can see from the product images, the touch sensor might be missing.

Please check which of them looks like the device you got. The good news is even if you have bought only the display you can purchase the Touch Screen separately now and mount it yourself.

The good news is kind of bad news because I bought the touch version of the display, so I shouldn't need to buy the touch addition:

I have aksed them about it and I was told that they only stock the touch version, so I should habve one.

Sorry to hear that.
The display in the pictures definitely lacks the touchscreen part. The touchscreen component gets connected in the small white connector at the back of the board (bottom right corner - circled in blue - http://i.imgur.com/lVBzSFr.jpg (http://i.imgur.com/lVBzSFr.jpg)).
Contact the re-seller that you lacked such a component. All I can see is that in the only picture of the display they have in e-bay lacks touch screen component.

Did you pay 99 pound only for the display ?
If you are from Germany i can give you a adress of a shop located in germany (fast deliver...best support)

No, the price was a lot less some days ago. I paid about 50€.
I'm from Germany and I'm certainly interested in a shop in Germany. It is much easier and faster with regard of shipping and maybe support as well. :-)

I just got the response from the shop on ebay. The touch component is on it's way. They said that they only orderes TS displays, so it is is just Murphy's law. :-)
Such things happen and their support is quite good! I usually received an answer after a few hours.

thanks for the hint. The shop on ebay was ok and the prices slightly lower than in other shops and they had all the boards in stock I was interested in. At the moment the display costs a bit more tham I paid for it. I paid about 45 Pounds!
I will certainly check your list the next time because shipping in the same country is a lot faster and not so expensive.
