Hi all,

i'm Stefano Giordano from Italy.

Recently i've buy an A20 Lime 2 without Nand and a LCD 10" touchscreen from olimex.com.

https://www.olimex.com/Products/OLinuXino/A20/A20-OLinuXIno-LIME2/open-source-hardware

My problem is to set the resolution.
I have the sd card with android from olimex.com.

The LCD turn on, but the image seems to be for the 7" LCD instead the 10" LCD.
Touchscreen works well (the command pressure are centrated).

I've try to modify the script.bin with the new parameters for the 10" LCD, but it's not working.

Please, any suggestion?

Really thanks,

Stefano

use the change_display script it does modify the fex/bin script the right way

sudo /root/change_display_a20_Lime.sh

hi,

thanks for your quick reply.

I'm little bit confused now.

change_display on Android? How?

Today i've tryed different version of Android, it doesn't work.

I've also created a Debian SD to test the display: it works very well.

I've no idea how and where can i edit this parameter.

I've also try to copy the debian script.bin into android sd. Nope.

Please help.

Really thanks for your patience.

Stefano

EDIT - -
this is what happened with https://www.olimex.com/wiki/images/2/2e/A20_SD_4G_android_422_TS_USB_UART_I2C_WIFI_LAN_HDMI_LCD_1024x600_release_1.torrent

maybe compare the LCD sections from the lime2 and extra to see what you have to change in the fex file

i am afraid you have to compile android for changing the resolution, or request Olimex to create one for 10inch displays also
