For ordering from BULGARIA please read this
Send us e-mail with your request for quotation including:
1. Your name and phone number
2. Your Company name (if any) - this is to be filled only if this is COMPANY
order and we should print your company name on the invoice.
3. Your address
4. The list of the items and quantities you want to purchase
5. Requested shipping option (check what options
are available from our shipping options web page)
6. Payment option
7. For all orders from Europe Union valid EU VAT ID. Our web prices are export
prices without VAT included, if the order comes from Europe Union and the recipient
doesn't provide valid EU VAT ID we must charge 20% Bulgarian VAT above the order
value. If you have valid VAT-ID you have to provide
it so we can check. If your order have no VAT-ID which we can verify for validity
at http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/vieshome.do?selectedLanguage=EN
your payment form will include 20% VAT.
You will receive back purchase order form with our quotation. Note: we do not offer phone orders, so please do not call us to place order by phone.
Please Note: your request will not be proceed unless you provide ALL information written above i.e. request which do not specify payment option or shipping option or other important info will get no quote back.
How to pay:
Card payment: we accept Visa, Eurocard,
Mastercard, JCB.
We can't charge Visa electron and Maestro
cards, please do not send us payment forms with such cards
Paypal: we accept payments by Paypal, due to the high Paypal service
charges, payments by Paypal will be subject to additional 5% service charge
if your order is below EUR 100.00;
Western Union: we accept Western Union payments;
Bank transfer: we accept bank transfer payments, due to the high cost
of sending and accepting bank trasnfers all orders paid by bank transfer are
subject to EUR 30.00 bank handling fee if
your order is below EUR 1000.00;
Cheques, bankers drafts: we accept cheques and banker drafts only
if they are issued by Bulgarian banks
Cash-on-delivery: we do not offer such payment option;
Accounts/organization's purchase orders: We do offer Net30 credit terms
to approved customers. We do not offer any other terms. To apply, email info@olimex.com,
note that to have approved account one of our conditions is your purchases to
be minimum EUR 1000 per month and you should have been our customer for at least
six months, if you do not meet these criterias please do not apply for Net30.
Warranty and returns:
Our boards have lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects and components.
During the development work is not unlikely that you can burn your programmer
or development board, this is normal, we also do development work and have been
damaged lot of programmers and boards during our daily jobs so we know how it
works. If our board/programmer has worked fine then stopped, please check if
you didn't apply over voltage by mistake, or shorted something in your target
board where the programmer was connected etc. Sometimes boards may be damaged
by ESD shock voltage or if you spill cofee on them during your work when they
are powered.
Please note that warrany do not cover problems caused by unproper use, shorts,
over-voltages, ESD shock etc.
If the board have warranty label it should be not broken. Broken labels void the warranty, same apply on boards with intervention by customer like additional components soldered or removed components, such boards will be not subject of our warranty.
If you are positive that the problem is due to manufacturing defect or component
you can return the board back to us for inspection.
When we receive the board we will check and if the problem is by us we will
repair/replace free of charge, otherwise we can quote on the repair.
Note that all shippings back and forth are to be covered by the customer.
Before you ship anything back you need to ask for RMA.
When you ship back please attach to it your shipping address, phone, e-mail,
RMA# and brief description of the problem.
All boards should be sent back in antistatic package and well packed to prevent
damages during the transport,
PLEASE NOTE: http://www.olimex.cl belongs to our Chile distributor MCI, they are not associated by any other means with Olimex Ltd than that they sell our boards, same is for http://www.olimex.biz/ which belongs to our Australian distributor Dontronics.
ATTENTION: http://www.olimex.eu is site of our ex-Portugalian distributor, he do not carry stock but continue to take orders, we had to stop working with him due to the many complains from customers, so please do not use this site to order our boards!
