Stainless steel blade do not allow different solder paste deposit depend on the pressure, it alwatys put equal amount of solder paste to the PCB. The rubber blade raquel allow the solder paste deposit to be different depend on the pressure as the rubber penetrates the stencil openings and can wipe some paste from the openings.
