[08:03:40] <leon-anavi> morning
[09:53:11] <diego71> keesj: the new installer have a better interface. It uses gnu screen, to give you 4 virtual console over serial. In console 4 you have all the messages of the installer
[10:03:34] <keesj> I have not seen that one yet. I find it so interesting that the whole system works so nicely (I have been ussing the lime + debian for years now) and it is so awesome that it is mainline but crazy why you can not "click and download" an image
[10:11:00] <diego71> keesj: I don't find so convient prebuild images. I prefer choose what softwar install, how the sd is partitioned and so on
[10:14:58] <keesj> certainly I was just thinking of the initial image creation perhaps something like angstrom had (online image creation) might help people who just want to have something stable/working
[10:15:40] <keesj> but yea, the love you put into it gets back to you later.
[10:47:08] <keesj> root@backup:/data/backup# ./backup.sh
[10:47:08] <keesj> Found interrupted initial backup. Removing...
[10:47:09] <keesj> Corrupted MAC on input.
[10:47:09] <keesj> Disconnecting: Packet corrupt
[10:47:09] <keesj> Fatal Error: Lost connection to the remote system
[10:47:25] <keesj> perhaps that the memory is not.. 100%
[10:50:57] <keesj> or the power supply (but it is a decent ish one)
[10:51:09] <diego71> do you have a good power supply?
[11:19:40] <keesj> https://www.antratek.nl/catalogsearch/result/?q=hnp06-050
[11:20:41] <keesj> perhaps I should have gone with a 2 AMP but this is not "crapy" I do have a usb drive installed (and it only liked being attached to the port next to the network adapter) on the other port it was not able to spin up
[11:21:49] <keesj> memory looks good, google suggests a bad router(will have to try something on an other machine)
[11:32:49] <keesj> other machines do work
[11:34:33] <keesj> https://pastebin.com/raw/xwZAMp4B (using scp )
[11:35:08] <keesj> [ 13.975797] IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth0: link is not ready
[11:35:08] <keesj> [ 31.519740] sun4i-emac 1c0b000.ethernet eth0: Link is Up - 100Mbps/Full - flow control off
[11:35:11] <keesj> [ 31.519784] IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): eth0: link becomes ready
[11:35:42] <keesj> is perhaps something I an tweak e.g this flow control perhaps
[11:55:01] <diego71> keesj: or a bad cable?
[11:59:37] <keesj> trying out some ethtool things (forcing 10Mbit)
[11:59:56] <keesj> thanks for helping/thinking with me !
[12:14:45] <keesj> it looks like "ethtool -s eth0 speed 10 duplex full autoneg off
[12:15:36] <keesj> " at least makes it 10 time longer before I see the problem (not sure yet)
