[10:34:55] <leon-anavi> morning
[14:41:10] <Jagan> Hi, I am trying to order Olimex A13-SOM
[14:41:28] <Guest23393> so which developement board should I need to order this to mount
[15:08:35] <adj__> Guest23393, I don't think that an olimex board for A13_SOM exists
[15:10:48] <adj__> if it's for software development why not use A13-Olinuxino while you develop your board?
[15:12:36] <Guest23393> No, they are producing https://www.olimex.com/Products/SOM/A13/A13-SOM-512/
[15:18:12] <adj__> Guest23393, yes, A13-SOM exists, but not a development board to mount SOM-A13 on it.
[15:19:09] <Guest23393> So I can directly power the SOM and use? like normal developement board
[15:22:20] <adj__> Guest23393, at least A20-SOM can be used connecting with power, I suppose that A13-SOM also
[15:25:06] <adj__> from the manual: If you use the board in stand-alone mode (e.g. it is neither attached to A13-SOM-WIFI nor to any other board of peripherals) there are fewer options for powering it. There is no standard jack for the
[15:25:06] <adj__> powering circuit – you might need to make own adapter. Consider that you might need additional cables or connectors. You would need to provide 3.3V DC to one of the two following locations:1. UART1 pin named “3.3V”; you can use any GND pin available at the board or 2. Connector GPIO-1's pin 1 (3.3V) and pin 2 (GND). The minimum consumption is 0.33W (equivalent of 0.1A of current at 3.3V of voltage).
[15:26:51] <adj__> Typically, A13-SOM gets evaluated when mounted connected with A13-SOM-WIFI. In this case
[15:26:51] <adj__> the former is powered via the latter.
[15:28:09] <adj__> so you can power the A13-SOM alone with 3.3V DC, or connect it to A13-SOM-WIFI and power this one with 5V micro USB

[22:12:22] <GPS1> Hi, is there anyone?
[22:42:44] <GPS1> I'm trying to read from UART0 (Console) but I get unreadable chars
[22:42:46] <GPS1> :(
[22:43:08] <GPS1> I tried several speeds
[23:09:50] <GPS1> too much activity here…
[23:11:41] <lukas2511> GPS1: too less information here…
[23:25:16] <GPS1> indeed
[23:25:58] <lukas2511> lol
