This issue happens on old mesa release due to developer-induced regression that was fixed and backported to affected releases so in the wild it shouldn't cause any issues on an up-to-date OS (https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/8198).

I've been dealing with the same behavior on NixOS, but the bug is weird and inconsistent for me to find the cause.. Currently it seems to output the same message, but the cause seems to be different as it's only known to happen on NixOS and to affect NixOS's GNOME (https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/issues/260222).

Please check your logs and try to run epiphany web browser playing crab rave on youtube to see if you encounter the highlighted issue. If you do then please share your system configuration or alternatively if you have more information to this issue then please share it. (the developer who caused this regression basically rewrote major mesa components that affect teres and were a pain to deal with to get better understanding about the issues that they introduced to the codebase)
