Hello to all.  :)
It is possible to execute any of the follows neurofeedback softwares (preferably OpenVibe or any other GPL / open source ) on Olinuxino or on another Olimex  product?

Hey ellecieffe,

We have EEG-SMT - 2-channel EEG stand-alone module based on OpenEEG design with its P2 firmware that works with OpenVibe and BrainBay from the list. I have personally tested those two. Web-page of the device: https://www.olimex.com/Products/EEG/OpenEEG/EEG-SMT/. There is also explanation how to configure those two software products in the EEG-SMT's manual.

Hello. I asked the same question in the forum OpenVibe and they replied as follows:

QuoteHonestly, I have no idea, but if you can run Fedora or Ubuntu on it (Olinuxino ), compile Ogre/GTK with it, and get some EEG drivers going too, thats a very promising start. We'd be interested to hear how the rest goes. The only Linuxes we are officially supporting are Fedora and Ubuntu (with some dev going on on Mint).
What would you run on Olinuxino? The acquisition server? Designer? The whole deal?

Do you have any suggestion about it?
thanks

Hey ellecieffe,

Ubuntu already runs on A13-OLinuXino, please check this post: https://www.olimex.com/forum/index.php?topic=537.0. I am not completely sure of the resources both the Acquisition server and Designer need/consume.

On the hardware side there is no problem A13-OLinuXino to power the EEG-SMT and to find it as a device. The software side is all you need to worry about.
