Can the Olimex JTAG-20-10 adapter be used with the Olimex ARM-JTAG-USB-H and ARM-JTAG-SWD adapter combo to make the 10-pin connection to the target's SWD header?

If not, what are other developers using to make this connection?

Thank you!

Sure it can.

One thing to notice is that ARM-JTAG-SWD has pads for the small step 10-pin SWD connector under the protective rubber (the connector is not placed), so you don't really need the extra adapter in your setup. This is visible in the schematic: https://www.olimex.com/Products/ARM/JTAG/ARM-JTAG-SWD/resources/ARM-JTAG-SWD-schematic.pdf (check at the top: "JTAG/SWD-OUT-10PINS").

To reiterate: ARM-JTAG-SWD has pads for such a connector under the protective rubber. However, the 10-pin 0.05" step connector is not placed, and the pads for such a connector are not exposed over the rubber. You would have to cut the rubber and place own 0.05" step connector. Furthermore, in order to be able to switch between the big and the small connector you would also need to handle the JTAG_E pads (that were designed for a PTH jumper). This means that you would need to solder PTH jumper over those pads also. Note that doing any of the modifications I described would void any warranty for the product.

In case you still want to modify the board and can't find fitting connector, please note that we sell the 0.05 male connector here: https://www.olimex.com/Products/Components/Connectors/MALE-PAV16X-02x05/

I would not advise cutting the rubber and modifying the board unless you are good with the soldering iron. I would recommend getting ARM-JTAG-20-10 instead.
