Hi.

I'm new at the Olimex platform, and am interested in building a network device requiring two gigabit Ethernet ports. I cannot find any gigabit Ethernet UEXT modules, but is there another way to add an additional Gigabit port to these boards?  Do USB GigE controllers work?

Also, have the throughput issues I've seen in another thread been resolved?

Thanks!

You can use USB Gigabit network controllers. This one is reported working: "ASIX AX88179/178A USB 3.0/2.0 to Gigabit Ethernet" ... not out of the box, since we added it manually to our kernel.

But with neither (onboard / USB) you can not expect full gigabit utilization, high speed routing capabilities ... A20 is general purpose chip.
