Hi
I am trying to play a 1080p video [Media Info: Video: 20 Mbps, 1920x1080 at 29.970 fps, AVC (High@4.0) and Audio: 192 kbps, 48 KHz, 2 channels] using mplayer with softvol as audio mixer. Because I need to use my TV volume for the video play instead of using A20 micro speaker jack/3.5 mm jack. I am connecting A20 micro board to my TV through HDMI cable.
The Command for mplayer is:
mplayer -softvol -volume 60 video1.mp4
When the video play starts, I can hear audio hiccups, Why this happens??
Also when I change the mplayer command to the following to use ALSA as audio mixer, there is no audio hiccups noticed:
mplayer -ao alsa:device=hw=0.0 video1.mp4
Why is this happens?? Can anyone help me in this??

Thanks in advance.
