Hi,

When I needed to reinstall the operative system without the web interface(it needed it when I was receiving a Kernel Panic message during the OS loading) I connected through the serial pins to the board, during the beginning of the boot I selected '2' from the serial console and I uploaded the firmware using tftp with the ethernet connection, setting a tftp server in my PC.

Here it's explained a bit:

phase "Prebuilt files and system restore"

In my pc I installed tftp-hpa, set the ethernet interface with a static IP and modified accordingly the file "/etc/init.d/tftpd-hpa" and then I restarted the service.
