Hi there,
I don't know where to place this topic... so don't hesitate to move it.

The FAQ's of MOD-USB3G mention the following:
"""
I can't see any drivers for download. How to connect the MOD-USB3G modem to a PC?
There are drivers and application inside the MOD-USB3G. When you plug it to your PC's USB port it would get recognized as a new storage device. Navigate to this storage device and install the application that you would find inside.
"""
The MOD-USB3G does not hold any drivers (not recognized as Flash Drive under Linux Mint).
I did also noticed that the model is somewhat different for the product's picture.

Just for your information...

I don't know why it is worded that way about "the unit" contains drivers.  Seems the OS should have them so that it sees the device.  What does lsusb show?  Did you make sure the relevant Linux drivers were present and loaded/loadable?  Tried lsmod/insmod?

BTW you failed to mention the Mint version.
