ive tried calibrating the touch screen and it runs but it doesnt seem to make any difference in the calibration can anyone please help me calibrate it properly

philmacu

the command to calibrate is ts_calibrate

BUT BUT BUT

a common mistake is to log on as root and do it, however chances are you are not running you LXDE as the root user, chances are you are still using the olimex user account. So you must calibrate the screen under the olimex account.

So console onto your device, then change to the account that you are using in LXDE (default is olimex) then run ts_calibrate with root privileges, in other words type
sudo ts_calibrate
you wont see any changes until you reboot
sudo reboot
