Hi there!

A few weeks ago I bought a STM32P407 and now I'm trying to interface the LCD. It's very tricky to find out which graphics controller is used on the assembled display. Do you have any information which one is used for the board STM32-P407 Rev.D? (Epson/Phillips/..?)
Furthermore I'm not sure if the lcd is still working properly. To check this it would be very helpful to run the demo program which was flashed when I got the board. Is there any place where I can download the binary? The IAR demo package can only be compiled with the IAR Embedded Workbench but I'm using the Coocox-IDE.

Many thanks in advance!

Kind regards
Lagfisch

Hey lagfisch,

The display might be different depending on the board's revision.

We have mounted two types of 6610 displays in the past - GE8 and GE12 ones (Epson/Philips).

We are currently only using GE8 ones but the board you own might have one of the GE12 displays.

The documents for the latest GE8 displays might be found at the MOD-LCD web-page: https://www.olimex.com/Products/Modules/LCD/MOD-LCD6610/

If you have older display (quite unlikely) then datasheet should be this one: http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/pub/Main/GoGearHDD6330/lds176_spec.pdf. Also this document seems written specifically for the 6610 display by Olimex: http://www.olimex.cl/pdf/Nokia%206100%20LCD%20Display%20Driver.pdf.
