Hi.

I bought an AVR-ISP-MK2.
I have Windows 7 64bit on my PC.
I installed AVR Studio 4.1 (STudio 6.1 is too big).
I have a board with an ATXMEGA32A4-AU inside.
I use the PDI interface.

I connect the AVR-ISP-MK2 to one of the USB port of the PC.
I give power to the board.

I run AVR Studio 4.1, choose 'Connect to the selected AVR programmer' and the AVR Sudio seems to see the AVR-ISP-MK2.
I click on 'Read the signature' and I ALWAYS get the nessage 'Failed to enter programming mode' or something similar.

I looked on the web for a solution, I pulled down the PDI-Data line with a 100kOhm resistor but the problem persists.

Any suggestion?

Thanks a lot
Igor

Solved.

Very very stupid error. I didn't insert a jumper so the ATXMEGA32A4-AU was not powered......

Ciao ciao
