Hi,

I purchased 5 imx233 micro boards, an imx233 maxi board, and 3 MOD-RGB boards. I need to add fade-in and fade-out routines to the MOD-RGB boards. I have installed MPLAB X IDE v1.51, and Hi-Tech-PIC-C 9.83 just as the project documentation requests (MPLAB X IDE v1.50 is not available). There are many errors upon compiling the firmware. Most of them point to a pic16f1503 header file with many errors as in this example:

http://www.microchip.com.edgekey.net/forums/m627388-print.aspx

I tried their solution but still received many errors. I am using an ICD 3 programmer, but I still receive the same errors when I switch the IDE to PicKit 3.

Is it possible to get a copy of the fixed pic16f1503 header file Olimex used? Or a better solution to solve it?

Please advise,

fbdystang

Hello fbdystang,

Indeed, the default header was modified a bit by one of our software engineers.

I included it in the archive available at the web site and mentioned about the possible problems related to the use of the default header in the project notes.

Please refresh the download location and download the project again. Direct link to the updated project: https://www.olimex.com/Products/Modules/LED/MOD-RGB/resources/MOD-RGB-FIRMWARE.zip.
