DS1302 on i2c
« on: June 26, 2013, 04:42:41 PM »
Hi.
I'm trying to run an RTC on the i2c bus.
I connected my ds1302 as follow:
EXT -> DS1302
1 -> 1
2 -> 4
5 -> 7
6 -> 6
DS1302 reset is pulled up to +3V3 by a 10K resistor.

And now? I do not understand what is the address for reading and writing even from the datasheet.

This is the output of i2cdetect:
[root@alarm ~]# i2cdetect -r -y 0

Can someone help me?
I have a arch linux with 3.7.1 kernel.
