Dear all
I can't install my AVR-ISP500-ISO on my Windows 8 64 Bit computer. After installing I get this message:
Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it.

Hello Franz,

Windows 8 has extensive built-in protection by default. You need to disable it to be able to use our products.

Select Settings (right bar)/More PC Settings (at bottom). Then go General/Advanced Startup/Restart Now/Troubleshoot/Advanced Options/Windows Startup Settings/Restart. As your PC is starting up be pressing F8 to get to the menu where you can choose to Disable driver signature enforcement or Enable low-resolution video mode or Enable safe mode.

Hey there,

Just Google "disable driver signature enforcement windows 8". For instance, this is the first result: http://laslow.net/2012/03/14/disable-driver-signature-enforcement-in-windows-8/
