Hello katela,

We are also struggling converting C18 examples to XC8. We decided it is impossible to do it for most of the boards.

It is much much easier to migrate C32 to XC16 and we have done it for all PIC32 boards. Unfortunately, probably it would need some time for the XC8 support to reach the level of C18.

Until then (probably you have noticed it) here is a migration guide: http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/50002184A.pdf
