Title: LIME2-e16Gs16M with LCD-OLinuXino-7CTS: Touch Calibration Failure
Post by: fchk on May 03, 2022, 10:44:12 AM
Following bundle:
- A20-OLinuXino-LIME2-e16Gs16M
- LCD-OLinuXino-7CTS
- LCD7CTS-METAL-FRAME
- CABLE-40-40-10CM

LCD works. Touch basically works, but touch positions and detected pointer positions totally disagree.
I selected "Application"->"Settings"->"Calibrate Touchscreen", followed the instructions, got a terminal screen with lines to paste into a 99-calibration.conf file in xorg-conf.d, did this, rebooted, but noting changed. I noticed that there is a 98-screen-calibration.conf that gets rewritten on every boot.

What do I do wrong?

I have exactly the same problem.
Calibration is done based on the instructions (https://www.olimex.com/wiki/Touch_calibration_official_images)
Hardware: SODIMM 204 PIN EVALUATION BOARD WITH A20-SOM204-1GS16ME16G-MC
LCD: LCD-OLinuXino-7RTS
Software: A20-OLinuXino-bullseye-base-20220413-094751.img
jumper in correct position

Touch is working, but no matter where I save the result (exactly according to the instructions or in /etc), the calibration configuration file does not work.
All actions are performed from under the olimex user, the config file is created using sudo (prior to its creation, the file in the form of XX-calibration.conf is missing from the system).

Sorry, but this procedure is probably relevant to old Armbian images. For TS calibration in Olimage, please follow the instructions here:
