Hi,
I tried to upgrade the firmware on my NB-Iot Olimex (BC66). I connect via UART and follow setup recommendation by QFlash (downloaded via ftp staging.olimex). When I connect the device and try to upload the firmware it goes straight to error message:
GetDAInfo failed ErrorCode = 1
Does anyone of you had the same problem? I changes CH340 drivers and used a new, very short USB cable.
Kind regards
Chris
Did you strictly follow the instructions from this document:
https://ftp.olimex.com/BC66/BC66_Firmware_Update_Instructions.pdf
I followed the instructions for QFlash 4.12 within:
https://ftp.olimex.com/BC66/LATEST%20FLASHER/
The instructions you're referring to, point to an IoT Flash Tool (Tools/IoT Flash Tool) that I can't find anywhere on ftp.olimex.com or within the zip file downloaded via LATEST FLASHER.
Kind regards

Good point, I've replaced it.
I tested the flasher and firmware from the ftp and it seems to work fine here. Maybe your CH340T drivers are improper?
I used Nb-IoT-DevKit myself (it has USB port and reset button for easier connection and operation). I used Windows 10 and set the board to 115200 baud. The two extra things I had to do were:
1. Had to place in folder without any space character in name.
2. Had to reset the board before the upload starts.
You can see my software setup in this picture:

Works like a charm. Thank you so much.
The problem was the folder name.
So simple. Still, so annoying.
